Blacks and Jews by ESHY

A critical part of Jewish teachings has always been the incorporeal nature of G-d. A G-d that transcends colour boundaries can not be said to be closer to one racial group than another. People distance themselves or come closer to G-d through their actions, not by birth to caste or colour, and not by a declaration of faith. I admire this particular rapper for his attempt to understand our history as a nation in a manner that recognises the experiences and sufferings of other ethnic groups. Part of the American experience is creating bridges of understanding and developing a sense of common cause as fellow humans created in G-d's image. I am pleased to present yet another rap song compliments of You Tube that works towards this goal. It is good to see this musical genre being used in a manner that is beneficial to peace and unity
