Four members of the now defunct Weather Underground have now added their names to a Progressives For Obama petition now being circulated on the internet according to a story in World Net Daily. According to the World Net Daily article”Among the names signed onto the petition are former Weathermen leaders Howard Machtinger, Jeff Jones, Steve Tappis and Mark Rudd.”

Between them the four have been involved in the radical leftist SDS (Students for a Democratic Society), the Weather Underground . In addition to this, they have all worked closely with Bill Ayers, a veteran of the Weather Underground whose documented ties to Barack Obama have put him on the defensive politically.

Supporters such as Fidel Castro, Hamas and Jimmy Carter have raised the question of what these individuals see in Barack Obama.

Today's Music Roundup Villain Pingouin

video

One of my favourite Quebec rock groups is Villain Pingouin.
The title translates roughly as " Small Life, Small Misery. I find it interesting that the video footage is taken in part from Fritz Lang's "Metropolis." The musical style reminds me very much of the Monkees from the 1960's. I think that French speaking Canada has much of which to be proud culturally. I think that this video will make that point very well to my readers. Sphere: Related Content
